6/12/2002. Bottle shared by Colin, cheers. Pours clear pale gold with minimal head. Aroma is apple, caramel, citrus, slightly baked and woody, lightly funky. Moderate sweetness, tartness and body. A little watery. Very dry, woody finish. Pretty good.

Bottle split with Sharon at the holiday cottage in Honeybourne, from Chadbury farm shop, 06/09/22. Clear golden with little in the way of a head. Nose is tarte apples, light funk, straw, tannins, damp alleyway. Taste comprises tangy apples, tannins, funk, dusty orchard wood, hint of caramel, barnyard. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with just a trace of acidity. Solid cider.

750ml bottle from Gloucester Services Farmshop. Deep bronzey gold colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, alittle funk and caramel hint. Taste is tangy, apple, fruity, with toffee & caramel notes, some light earthy barnyard funk and mellow tannins. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.
