Dry Still (very slightly sparkling) Fine Cider
A new maker for us, from the legendary cider lands of Herefordshire, set a little down the road from Oliver's. All fruit used in this Single Variety Dabinett cider came from the Big meadow; an orchard right in front of Jamie’s cidery. He picked apples late in the season & gave them time before pressing.
Expect green fruits, driven acidity, & a mouth filling texture. More still than sparkling; slight fizz on opening but soon drops. Alc. 6.9% vol.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Golden amber colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of apple, fruity, funk hint. Taste is tangy, apple, fruity, orchardy, with some woody funk, caramel hint and bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
