Bottle from benzai, thanks! Horrible gusher, Dark brown color. Fresh grinded coffee, caramel and roastmalt in the aroma. Full bodied. Sweetish, malty caramelly roasty alcoholic flavor with notes of coffee and licorice. Decent.

Bottle thanks to Benzai, black beer with a large head, Gusher! lost minimal amount of beer, aroma is coffee, some malts, taste is watery, roasted coffee, malts, bitter, chocolate. Interesting brew.

33 cl bottle, gusher. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is spiced, herbal and toasted malty. Sweet, herbal and dark malty. Bitter and roasted malty finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a murky, opaque dark brown with a beige head. Comes as an explosive gusher, leaving very little beer left after the explosion. Roasty coffee aroma. Medium body, almost flat - after all the gushing! - heavy phenols and a ton of yeast sediment. Roasty bitter finish, with some licorice. 080614

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a thin brown head - gushing when opened. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, roasted malt, and coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, coffee, and chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

33 cl bottle @ home, thanx to Benzai. Well, 33... Upon opening almost all of the beer forced itself out of the bottle into the sink. I could save 1 or 2 sips :-( Very dark color, murky. Beige headd (well, it was almost exclusiveliy foam....). Aroma’s: ground coffee (dark roast), some sweet malts, hints of red fruit.. Flavor is mocha, moderate sweet, roasted. Light to medium bodied. Short finish, a bit of ash. A full bottle would have been nice...

@Secret Sinterklaas 2013, Thanx! donker bruin met minimaal bruine kraag aroma: sterke koffie aroma’s daarnaast caramout en gebrande mouten smaken: redelijk zoet, redelijk bitter, zeer sterk, licht fruitig, mocca/koffie, gebrande-, geroosterde en caramouten volle body, romig in de mond, laag co2, lekkere zachte romige volle smaken, goede sterke koffie, bitterheid valt zéér mee. Goed spul dit !

Bottle @ Dutchdrebus 3000 ratings tasting. Opaque dark brown color, small off - white head. Aroma has malts, molasses, slightly sweetish. Taste malts, also slightly sweetish, mocha, coffee. Decent body and carbonation. Decent.

Number 3000! Bottle at home. Dark brown to black colour with a minimal sized light brown head. Smells slightly sour, red fruits, slightly roasty. Not a lot of smell. Tastes coffee, liquorice, roasty, some dark chocolate, mocca. A bit thin and a bit watery.. Soft carbo. Nice but not amazing.
