Our ruby ale Red Macgregor brewed to 4.0 ABV. Deliciously perfumed with hints of spiciness and toasted malts. Rich hop fruits giving way to a clean dry refreshing hop bitterness.

500ml bottle at home. Clear copper with a thin white head. Toffee apple aroma, similar taste. Not a lot going on.

0,5 l bottle with a new nobel label art. Pours in a dark amber, nice foamy light tanned head. Intensive fresh and fruity hop on the nose. Starts fresh hopy with a noticeably bitterness. Dark malt in the background. Like it!

A copper beer with a big and beige head. Aroma of toffeeish malts, some fruits, wooden and lemon hoppyness. Nice and fresh aroma. Taste of toffeeish malts, still quite dry, hint of creamtoffee, wood, some lemon. Aftertaste is dry and wooden. Almost medium bodied, quite smooth carbonation, casual to drink. Nice beer with a enough of freshness, I have positive feeling from this beer.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff: en fruktig og lett bitter, og selv med beskjedne 4% er det en god øl som er verdt å kjøpe en flaske eller to av.

500mL bottle, split several ways, pours a clear / hazy copper with a small beige head. Aroma is quite coppery, with metallic notes, pale malts - not much else. Flavour of caramel, grainy English malt and a noticeable hop presence, but the hops are subjugated by the malts, despite the advertising as this being an intensely hoppy ale. Dominated most by the caramel and dry English malts. Quite decent.
