--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, small head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Dark chocolate, coffee and tobacco. Mid bitter finish. Very pleasant!

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BBE 05/2028, from Alko, 20220721) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, chocolate and coffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, coffee, chocolate, metal, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, metal and bitterness. A rather burnt brew with nice balancing notes.

Black with a medium light brown head. A roasted malt aroma with chocolate, coffee and dried fruit sense. Medium bitter with a roasted malt, coffee and slightly smoke end.

[ As Rye River Nocturne Export Stout ].
ABV: 6.0%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, roasted, dark malt, dark fruit, moderate chocolate and coffee, sweet coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, dark fruit - sweet fruit, sod - burnt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20220505]

50cl bottle from Alko. Poured pitch black in color with a creamy off white head. Roasted malts, sweet licorice, chocolate and tobacco. Dry finish. Light to medium bodied. Pretty good.
