Smell of acid, hazy brown colour, minimal white head. Aroma of yeast, leaves, mead, sugar. Sweet with a faint bitterness. Negligible carbon. Oily texture, full body.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2014) The beer poured deep red and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, malts, metallicness and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, caramel, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. Too sweet but otherwise good.

Aroma is quite light with some malt and caramel. Flavour has grainy and sweet malty tones with toffee, ripe fruits, bread and caramel. Some elements from sahti and also a very slight sour & acidic feeling with grapefruit in the background. Decent.
