Bottle in the Helsinki Brewery restaurant. Clear deep amber -red - brown beer., thin pale tan head. Palate is light and fairly dry. Mellow dark malts, touch of chocolate,.not that sweet. Little dry floralness. Little dark fruits. Dry finish. Nice try but it comes over as a thin lightweight porter.

Draught @Ølhus København. Pours brown with a thin off white head. Malty, some chocolate, quite bready nose. Flavor has chocolate, bread, malt. Cocoa lingering in the finish. Pleasant tasty stuff.

Draught @ Ølhus København, Helsinki. Pours dark brown with a small white head. Aroma of roasty malts, hints of chocolate, cocoa and coffee. Taste is smooth, sweetish and slightly roasty with hints of chocolate, coffee and cocoa. Finish is sweet, malty and slightly stuffy with some chocolate notes and sticky earthy notes. A bit unbalanced.

Tap at Gallow’s Bird, Espoo. Colour is brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, grain, some hops and malts. Can’t find much pils elements.

(Keg at Gallows Bird Kekri 2015) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, sweetness and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, dark chocolate, roasted malts, chocolate and bitterness. Afteraste was malty and bitter. A weird spiced brew.
