Aroma has wood, resin, berries and hoppiness typical to black IPA. Flavour has licorice, resiny hops and fruity. Nice and balanced, best BIPA for a while.

Bottle at Stones, Helsinki. Dark brown amber color, tiny off-white head. Toasted, a bit salty and citrusy aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Caramel in front but otherwise quite like CDA. Citrus, pine, roasted maltyness. Some yeasty notes. Strong hops all over. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. A bit thin for this abv.

330ml Bottle (Kaisla, Helsinki) - Copper brown with a slight haze. Toffee, sultanas, nuts and pine in the aroma. Nutty, hoppy and slightly roasted taste with brown sugar and some slightly soapy hops.

Pours reddish brown with a bubbly head. Aroma of roasty malts, grassy hops, hints of coffee, berries, citrus and pine. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and grainy with some hops, grassy notes, hints of coffee and resin. Finish is crisp, hoppy and mildly roasty with hints of resin, pine and grass. Quite a hoppy brown ale.
