Summer is about to end. The craving for AMSTEL though, never! That's why there's the AMSTEL Dark beer, the deep red Bock you enjoy when the darkness comes early. It owes its color and rich taste to malt, which is slowly roasted during its production, but also to the aroma of hops. It has 6% alcohol, but it is as easy to drink as all other AMSTEL beers. It is ideally served at 8-10 ° C, with friends and no dark mood.

330ml can at home. Dark brown almost black color with beige head. Aroma is like boiled vegetables with some roasted malty notes at the end. Sweet and biter taste, roasted malty, caramel. Medium almost oily body with soft to average carbonation.

Thanks to ciocanelu for sending this bottle! Dark nose, the beer starts a bit watery, but nice roasted-malty-sweet. Fresh malt, brown sugar, easy to drink bock with a slightly warming ending. The aftertaste is dry, malty-bitter with a nice malty brown-sugary ending. Nice stuff! --- Beer aliased from original tick of Amstel Premium Dark Bock on 25 Oct 2024 at 10:26 - Score: 7. Original review text: Can in 🇬🇷. Great malty rich beginning. Caramel, Cream. Soft malty, lots of roast, really creamy nice and round. Highly drinkable, great!

Dunkler, nicht sonderlich ausgeprägt würziger Antrunk mit wässrig röstigen Noten. Röstiger aber insgesamt weniger intensiv im Mittelteil, mild schokoladig malzig. Laff für das, was es darstellen soll. 11/9/9/9/11/9

50cl Bottle on Syros. Different ABV from the Dutch version, slightly different name, other brewery, so I added this. Clear brown colour, light-beige head. Aroma of caramel, burnt sugar, alcohol, plums. Flavour is medium-sweet, toast, burnt sugar, light fruity, light-bitter finish. Light bodied. Lacks the depth of the Dutch version, but comes close.
