Aroma is odd with mint chocolate. Also mild malty tones. Flavour has coffee, mint chocolate, some manure and harsh malt. Also minerals.

Tap at Bruuveri, Helsinki. Colour is murky brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Spices, anise, some chocolate and malts. Horrible.

Keg @ Bruuveri, Helsinki. Poured near black with a thin off white head. Aroma has licorice root, caugh medicine or toothpaste, can’t decide. Peppermint flavor, malts, anise. Overall a very spicy brew, but quite drinkable nonetheless. Light to medium bodied.

(Keg at Bruuveri, 20161203) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had aniseed, cough mixture and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were cough mixture, aniseed, burnt malts, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, burnt and bitter. The spice blend used didn’t please me.
