(Keg at Ota Olut 2017) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had burnt malts and ash. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, ash, liquorice and bitterness. Aftertaste had liquorice and bitterness. The liquorice was used nicely but otherwise the beer was too burnt.

Draught @ Ota Olut 2017. Pitch black, roasty and smooth porter with massive amounts of licorice, hints of spices, salmiakki and salty licorice root. A total licorice overdose. A bit unbalanced, but I kinda like this.

Tap at Ota Olut. Opaque black colour, medium-sized brownish head. Toasted, strong licorice in the nose. Medium-bodied. Toasted, licorice dominates. Lactose is not evident. Smooth, robust.
