Tap at SOPP. Hazy nut brown colour, no head. Ripe fruits, banana and glue in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweetish with alcoholic finish. Overriped banana, wood, juniper, raisins. Traditional good sahti but a bit unbalanced.

Draught @ sopp 2017. Poured brown in color with almost no head. Aroma has banana, yeast and juniper. Sweet ripe banana in flavor, yeast and mild spicy notes. Woody notes. Pleasant.

Draught @ SOPP 2017. Pours murky brown with a tiny head. Aroma of malts, bready notes, banana, yeast and earthiness, loads of berries and hints of rye. Taste is sweet, gluey and heavy with berries, banana, yeast and earthy notes. Finish is heavy and boozy with some banana, earthiness, hints of juniper and malts. I’m still not a big fan of Sahti, and this one is not that good.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2017) The beer poured brown and rather cloudy. No head. Aroma had juniper, banana and malts. Palate was full bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, spiciness, juniper, banana and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and spicy. A nice spicy sahti.
