Bottle(@Vagabund Wedding):Deep golden, hazy, lacy and quite stable white head; solid dryish, but not too dry, piney and exotic-fruity nose, traces of pale malt underneath; solid bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium bodied, unfortunately not very soft; lingering - with hops sticking to the palate - piney and malty finish, followed by traces of cough syrup in the aftertaste. Very good…

(Draught at Vagabund Brauerei, Berlin, 23 July 2014) Pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, resin and crystal malt. Malty, hoppy taste with toast, crystal malt, resin, citrus and a fairly dry finish with a generous bitterness. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Slightly sharp malt profile, but quite tasty with a fresh hop character. Nice one.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Yeasty, mildly bready cara-malty aroma with a whiff of smoke, backed by notes of citric and delicately resiny and sweaty hops. Moderately bitter and sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a modest carbonation. Initially mildly bready malt accented taste with hints of caramel, shades of smoke and a well-integrated moderately citrus-fruity and delicately resiny hops; rounded bitter-sweet finish with malty and balanced hoppy notes. Likeable, more malt-accented Ale. 05.IX.14
