0,33 l bottle, bought at Grebhan´s, Bremen. Very simple but stylish label art design. Very intensive nose with hop, yeast and sour raspberry. A dark red gold in the glass, huge head. Starts dry with hop and sour raspberry, followed by sweet sequences. Bitter sweet aftertaste, malty bedding, little bit salty. More carbonation than expected. Definitely not for fast drinking.

(bottle, 33cl, 5.5% abv) Cloudy, light-amber colour with a big and off-white foamy head. Yeasty, slightly lavender soapy aroma with a distinctive touch of raspberries on a mildly malty background. Delicately bitter and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly cara-malty base with present notes of raspberries; slightly sour-fruity raspberry-laden finish with a mildly soapy background. I have to admit that le lavender tone irritates me, reminding me of hand-crafted soap cubes from the south of France. 05.IX.14

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour, reddish glimmer, with huge, frothy, long lasting, decently lacing, off-white head. Ephemeral, tart-ish raspberry aroma with a herbal touch and hints of pine turns with time passing by into bath salt aroma with lavender notes. Taste is initially tart, minimally soapy with bath salt touch, hints of raspberry and lavender, a touch of pine, later same caramel malty sweetness comes in, liable for a more balanced and harmoniously integrated result; lively carbonation. Pros: real raspberry taste/aroma, not too sweet; cons: bath salt touch. Nice try overall.
