330ml bottle from Pien. Batch 19, BBE 03/2018. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma of coffee beans, earthiness, berries and roastiness. Taste is roasty and milky with some lactic notes, hints of berries and coffee beans. Finish is lactic and slightly roasty with some coffee, chocolate and berries. A bit unbalanced.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Vantaa. Batch 19. BBE 3/2018. Colour is dark brown with very small head. Aromas and flavours: Coffee, dark chocolate, dryness, some lactose and roasted malts. Has some quality problems with berries and little bit of fizzy. Pretty strong flavours for this ABV and some good elements.

A colablack beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma but pleasant coffee, some sweetness, hint of strawberries. Taste has coffee, some roastiness, nice and balancing sweetness against the roasted flavours. Almost medium bodied. Nice coffee.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 3/2018 - batch 19, from Pien, 20170406) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, coffee with milk and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, coffee with milk, dark chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A surprisingly good stout with sweet notes.

Bottled 330ml (Pien)
Dark opaque color, small steady brownish head. Aroma has strong coffee, almost tobacco-like. Light-bodied. Feels ok at first but finishes quite watery. Coffee (tobacco) dominates and oat makes soft palate. Some hops. Suprisingly can’t trace much of lactose here. So it feels more like a porter than a sweet stout. Roasted, aggressive coffee is a bit too much for my liking. Black Moo was better!
