A fruity and funky sour ale aged in Sauv Blanc, Cab Franc, and Bourbon barrels with wild cultures and finished on black cherry purée. Crisp and tart with a smooth body, soft tannins, and notes of vanilla, cherries, cider, and dry rosé.

Weak pink body, great yeasty cherry aroma, really great. Taste is Great yeasty cherry, deep, funky, dry finish. Excellent.

On tap at The Bakery, pours a hazy bright pinkish red with almost no head. Aroma brings out a strange mix of wine and bourbon barrels, some muddled bugginess and tart cherries. Flavour is tart and fruity, with plenty of tart cherries, lots of bugs, and a touch of vinous notes. I don't get the bourbon, just the cherries, bugs and wine. Integrated nicely with reasonable depth. Good ambition, reasonable execution.
