Oktoberfestbier härstammar från Bayern och kallas även Märzen, vilket är tyska för månaden mars. Ölet bryggdes traditionellt i mars, då det var förbjudet att brygga öl april-september. När oktober närmade sig tömdes det som var kvar i faten under festliga former, vilket blev oktoberfest!

Draught@SBWF2022. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is floral, honeyish and mild toffeeish tones. Flavour is toffee, some bready, floral and mild honey tones.

Appearance: Amber colour with an off-.white head.
Aroma: Malt, caramel, fruit, spices, hops, grass.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 1 Oct 2022) Amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, toast and apricots. Malty taste with toast, caramel, bread, apricot marmalade and a mild grassy/spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. On the caramelly side, but really rich, well balanced and tasty. Very nice.

Burk från SB. Disig bärnstensfärgad vätska med lågt skum. Aningen sötare och mer humlig än en klassisk märzen. Säd, bröd, karamell, söta äpplen, lätt höig beska. Trevlig

--Keg at SBWF. -- Clear amber, mid sized head. Floral honey aroma. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready and floral. Mid bitter finish.
