Blend 1: 18 month old Danish Wild Ale blended with stevnsbær cherry juice and matured on Tahitian vanilla beans and Ceylon cinnamon sticks. Fusing age old tradition with flavors of the world.
Aged for 18 months.
Blend 2: Danish Wild Ale with Cherries and Vanilla Beans.
Our beloved Kriek, refermented with 50% Stevnsbær cherry juice, and then rested upon copious amount of Tahitian and Bourbon vanilla beans.
Aged for 36 months.

Flaska från Mikkellers webshop. Vacker, djupröd färg med lågt skum. Körsbär, körsbärskola, kanel, vanilj. Ganska söt och snällt syrlig, maffig med både körsbär och kryddor som spelar bra med varandra. Tungt. Riktigt gott.

ABV: 7.0%. Clear dark deep red colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, pink - red head. Aroma is cherry, wheat, barnyard - farmyard, wood, oak, light vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, cherry, vanilla, tart, farmyard, barrel - vanilla, funk, medium dry. Body is medium to full, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle @ Mikkeller, Odense. Pours deep red with a purple white head. Berries, ripe cherries, wood, . Sweet and dark jammy berries. Straight forwarded without a deeper layer of complexity but the fruity intensity is insane. Funky fruity quencher. Dry finish.

Bottle, 500 ml at Miro's Grande Tasting 2020. Dark red with short lasting pinkish head. Cherries, vanilla, some funk, sweetish. Nice sourness. Medium bodied.

A delicious start, with a very nice modern interpretation of a kriek lambic. So much cherry, but not too sweet. Warming, rich, smooth cherry, with a bit of acidity and some light dryness. Woody. Christmassy.
