Blend 1: 18 month old Danish Wild Ale blended with stevnsbær cherry juice and matured on Tahitian vanilla beans and Ceylon cinnamon sticks. Fusing age old tradition with flavors of the world.
Aged for 18 months.
Blend 2: Danish Wild Ale with Cherries and Vanilla Beans.
Our beloved Kriek, refermented with 50% Stevnsbær cherry juice, and then rested upon copious amount of Tahitian and Bourbon vanilla beans.
Aged for 36 months.

Bottle from Mikkeller Odense. Deep, dark red with a short lived pink head. Intense dark cherry aroma with a touch of vanilla. Dry, tart and slightly funky flavour dominated by fresh black cherries. Extremely tasty, but a bit simple.

From tap. Pours hazy red, pink head. Aroma is cherrirs. Dry. Smooth vanilla. Lingering thick cherries. Thick fruity. Vanilla. Cherry smooth finish.

On tap at Mikkeller Baghaven, pours a deep dark purple, with a large pink head. Aroma is intense, with lots of cinnamon, tart cherries, and a hint of vanilla - very funky and fruity. Damn. Flavour is unbelievably complex, with deep dark cherry skins, cherry pit, gentle cinnamon, and even gentler vanilla. Complex and deep. This is phenomenal.

Bardzo fajny krieczek, nieco pestkowy, acz wanilii malutko raczej. Kwasnosc umiarkowana, dzikosc sladowo. Bardzo smacznie. A, slodkawe tez milo. Ma cialo :)
