Can from a beer festival in Ashford and drunk at home. Black beer with a thin tan head. Espresso coffee and dark chocolate attractive aroma. More of the same in mouth. Rich Belgian chocolate truffle flavour bit of alcohol on the finish. Lovely aroma. Good enough.

Draft at the stone works Peterborough black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are roasted coffee bitter slight dryness. Hints of smoke. Smooth full body. Description suggested it was an Imperial Baltic Porter at 10%.

Smell of coffee. Dark brown colour, white head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, syrup. Sweet. Soft carbon.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20210514) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and bell peppers. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, bell peppers, ash, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had bell peppers, burnt malts, sweetness and bitterness. A tasty burnt brew with pleasant pepper notes.
