Piper Wit on vehnäolut belgityyliin.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy light straw colour with a whispy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is big zesty citrus yeast. The flavour is acid citrus, light sour with a citrus yeast palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. It’s all about the fruit and it’s a bit one dimensional but refreshing in the summer sun.

500ml bottle, thanks to djoeye for sharing. Fair white head to a misty grey-golden body. Perfumed spices on the nose, dry and sweet. Soapy taste with wheat, sweet fruits and yeasty hints to the ending. Soft on the swallow. Below par for a decent wit beer (Tromsø 19.05.2014).

50 cl botte @ home, BBE 24.10.2013
Aroma has soapy citrus and some vanilla. Flavour has soapy citrus, coriander and hints of vanilla. Finishes with flour, grapefruit, a slight vichy‐like feeling and hints of plastic. A bit watery but quite refreshing, better than I expected.
