Hopped in multiple stages through the brewing process with generous quantities of Amarillo, Chinook, Columbus and Cascade hops, this golden ale has a mouthwatering citrus aroma and a refreshing flavour with hints of grapefruit and lychee. A dry hop stage is added during fermentation using whole leaf Liberty hops to give our American-style IPA a subtle spiciness, complimenting the citrus flavours provided by the hops added during the brew.

330ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Clear, orange golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Weak, grassy and fruity, slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma, hints of lychee, a touch of strawberry, grapefruit, whiffs of overripe tropical fruit, pale and caramel malty background. Taste is sweet-ish, pale and caramel malty, fruity hoppy, hints of lychee, a touch of strawberry, grapefruit; slightly peppery spicy, yeasty finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Slightly unusual fruitiness - OK.
