On tap at the Brick Store Pub. Pours black, with a small, beige head. The nose is licorice, black bread, caramel, and Demerara. Sweet and lightly roasted. Light, creamy and lovely.

Flute at Shelter DC, pours an opaque black with a thick cap of foamy off white head. Nose has malt, yeast, some cocoa powder, toast. Flavor has all that, cocoa, toast, yeast, some raisnette. Creamy and soft finish.
