Exactly what you expect from A&G. Brassy, nice leather tart character, great funk.

Pours a clear, amberblonde. Small, relatively fast fading white head. Scent is very interesting. The typical (modern) 3F acidity, but more clear and outspoken - in a good way - than most batches. Very mild nuttyness from the oloroso. A very distant touch of acetic acid. Taste is intense, dry, toasty in a way , very wood-forward, not virgin oak, not old oak... just... Wood, and toasted woody in specific. very high carbonation (to high for me). Very dry. pleasant and very outspoken geuze, sherry is definately present but very in the back - so I agree with the way they marketed this 100%. This is a particularly lovely blend ! Compared to the other Oloroso A&G currently in existance (that I know of), this is definately the one to pick !

Pours a clear, golden amber. Medium large white head, surprisingly stable. Scent is full, old lambik, oak. Not specific on the sherry (yet) but certainly promising on the lambic/ quality side. Taste is sharp, dry and acidic. Sherry mildly present in the back (even a light touch of Smoke, perhaps from the brett rather than the barrel? ) Mild acetic acid. Mostly pronounced on the dry, sharp side though. Citric, and with a fairly high carbonation. I would have hoped for more sherry myself. Lovely geuze , if you think of it as a more 'regular' one .
