(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 28 Aug 2022) Hazy golden colour with big, lasting, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of lemon peel, hay, herbs, oak wood and bretty yeast. Fruity, tart taste with lemon, unripe pineapple, herbs, apple cider vinegar and oak wood. Low bitterness. Medium body, dry. Really tasty and quite interesting, with a generous herbal tartness and lots of oak wood. Very nice.

Batch 1. Een muntachtige kruidenwaas verhuld een gebarrel-aged bier dat bijsmaken van popcornschilletjes en bedorven walnoten heeft ontwikkeld. Complex alom, maar die nasmaak is niet geweldig. Slechte adem, een vleugje ruit, watermunt, walnoot. Apaert.
