330 ml bottle, in Lilland's Beer & Hiking Series, from the brewery off-licence. ABV is 4.7%. Black colour, large tan head. Aroma of roast malts, burnt breadcrumbs, dark chocolate, coffee. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, mid between dry and sweet, a hint of oatmeal, moderate bittering hops.

Bottle. A dark brown to black beer with a small dark beige head. Roasted, slightly burnt aroma with a touch of charcoal, licorice and prunes. Some hoppy fruityness too. It's medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, a bit heavy on the carbonation, with some burnt malts bitterness. Roasted and burnt malts in the flavor, along with charcoal, hints of prunes and burnt down bonfire. Quite long finish. Not bad this one, but the carbonation level is too high. 220812
