You may not know this, but Fair State’s Production Facility is right across the train tracks from our cozy St. Paul confines. Mostly this means a steady stream of beer tubes flowing between us, but also bailing each other out when shipments fail to materialize. So often in fact, that we figured it would just be easier to run can phones between the two to cut down on our phone bills. Pantry loads of our hand-selected Mosaic with Idaho 7 Cryo, Columbus Cryo & Double Dry Hopped with Heaps of ooey-gooey Strata.

16 oz. can. Side by side both brewery versions. Apricot, grapefruit, malt. The flavor has a much bolder malt character than the Fair State version. Apricot, peach and grapefruit stand out but the malt nearly overpowers everything. Shows some alcohol.

Can shared by Brian, thanks! Can shared by Brian, thanks! Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dank citrus and dank mango with a touch of sweet onion and sweet grains supporting. Flavor has a combination of citrus and dank mango with a bit of sweet grains and a hint of sweet onion backing.

Pours a hazy, lemon-pineapple, with smallish head. Aroma is grassy, with some green onion and a touch of cheese, along with citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor is grassy and bitter up front, with some sweet citrus and tropical fruit following. The hop bitterness is at a minimum in the finish. Mouthfeel seems a bit on the thin side, but this is some good stuff. Seriously.
