We just got put in touch with some USDA 074, a stoke-worthy new varietal from the fine folks at Oregon State’s Hop Breeding program, by our buds @bsghops We were getting Deep Citrus & Soft Tropical vibes & naturally had to take it for a rip with with our Murky Mainstay. Blessed with a third round of USDA 074 in the dry hop after the first two of our hand selected Azacca, Amarillo & Citra. Saturated salutations from our house to yours.

Pint can from Festival Northland, 2/20/22. Hazy orange, large fizzy off-white head, average retention. Aroma of mango, tropical fruit, candied lemon. Taste is mango, lime, pale malt. Juicy. Low bitterness. Solid.

Can. Pours a hazy light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a nice light citrus and grass with a bit of mango and guava underlying. Flavor has a great tropical fruit note led by guava and sweet citrus with some mango underlying.

Pours a hazy, light lemon yellow, with mid-sized, fast-dissipating head. Aroma is fruity--citrus and tropical. Flavor has citrus and tropical fruit notes (though a bit light), with some slight hoppy bitterness at the finish. Mouthfeel may be a bit slim. This isn't bad.
