Hot damn, 12%? Unfortunately the detail card was missing and I had no idea. Quite good. Sherry notes but also a surprising amount of whiskey. Barrel aging seems so fun.

On tap. A clear orange golden beer with a beige head. Aroma of intense vanilla, wood, raisins. Taste of raisins, vanilla, wood, sherry, strong malty finish.

Bottle. Color: Clear in between copper and amber, thin beige head. Aroma: Fruity peach, sweetish Sherry, Whiskey hints. Taste: Fruity grape and peach, some date, sweet Sherry, spicy hints of the Rye. A little Whiskey, getting more present at the finish. Over moderate sweet, moderate tart and little bitterness. Dry mouthfeel. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. Well balanced, great complexity. A lot of flavors to explore in each sip. Very likeable.
