New larger scale batch prepared for Tilquin Fruit Extravaganza 2021-2022, with 400 gr of organic pears per liter of lambic, in a blend of 50% of 1 year old Meerts and 50% of 1 and 2 years old lambics. First time served on October 23, 2021

On tap at Meddlesome Moth, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out some sweatsocks, barnyard funk and subdued pear skins. Flavour is musty, with dusty pear skins, barnyard funk, tart citrus, and some sweaty funk. A bit too tart and sweaty, but still has that nice signature Tilquin funk. Good.

Draft at Foeders. Quite funky, soft pear but more lambic. A touch of tannins and lemon. Great, seems similar to the experimental series.
