Nearly no nose. Nice golden colour in the glass. The beer starts quite sweet, smooth, malty. Easy to drink. The mainpart is fullbodied, sweet but not pushy, malty, smooth. The aftertaste is long, malty-sweet, easy to drink and smooth.

0.5l bottle. Orangish amber body, white head. Aroma is mostly grainy, but it has some caramel and toast notes. The flavor is totally malty (toast, bread and caramel), but not overly sweet at all. Nice brew for cold evenings. At least I enjoy it right now :-D

500ml bottle. Clear reddish amber with average frothy minimally lacing white head. Initially grainy aroma, later some caramel and toasted malt, a touch of alcohol. Taste is slightly sweet caramel malty, minimal touch of hay, low carbonation. Not really exciting.

Gelungener vollmundigerund harmonischer Bock. 11/13/12/13/12/12

Bottle: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, firm, creamy, lacing off-white head; distinctive aromatic, herbal hoppy notes in the aroma, mixed with sweet malt and the special "house character"; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium-bodied, softMF, slightly alcoholic finish with sweet malt and umbels. I admire this franconian brewers for their high quality.....

(bottle) Almost clear, chestnut colour with a fluffy, persistent off-white foamy head. Dusty, moderately sweet and toasty aroma with a distinctive spicy herbal hoppy note. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth and pleasant mouthfeel. Well-balanced sweet maltiness with herbal hoppy effects from the beginning; mild malty and moderately bitter finish. This one has also the distinctive rural Dorn-Bräu character. Superb.
