Ammerndorfer Bock, Flasche von Sagasser, FO. - Kupfergoldbraun, klar. (25.12.2023.)

Bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours a handsome clean chestnut brown with a thick, fluffy off - white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, oily, sappy, chewy toffee, caramel, dull pipe tobacco, leather sofa, honey glazed ham, brown bread, rivita and dried fruits. The taste is initially dry and toasty, bitter - sweet, toothy, chewy, woody, light tannin, old leather sofa, bitter toffee/caramel, charred oak, meatiness, honey glazed ham, dried fruits, fruit cake and some boozey warmth with a drying, warming finish. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Nice.depth of flavour. An interesting and thought provoking number.

Bottle from the Elsfleth Hol-Ab. Auburn with a frothy, white head. Aroma is herbal with caramel. Taste is bitter with a sharp hoppy, herbal note at the finish. Medium-bodied, mild carbonation, alcohol is mostly but not completely hidden. Ok.

Bottle. Amber color. Maltaroma with soft grassy notes. Malty sweet flavor, full bodied, with clear alcoholic notes. Unbelievable for a 17 Gr, 6.2 ABV beer. Bready, firm and pleasant.
