Hazy blond colour, white foam. Light herbal, a bit fruity, dry and grassy finish. Well balanced.

29/X/22 - on tap @ post-wedding drink (Ben & Cathy) - Brouwbar (Ghent), BB: n/a (2022-1426)
Pretty clear gold blond beer, creamy dense white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice fruity start, lots of melon rind, some banana peel, bubble gum, smelled like a hefeweizen more than a saison actually, malty, hint of oranges and orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty spicy, lots of phenols, bubble gum, dry, bitter, a bit medicinal, chemical touch. Aftertaste: pretty fruity, gentle hop bitterness, spicy, banana, melons, bubble gum, bitter finish.

Newest Brouwbar beer to date, a strong saison with dry-hopping. Egg-white, moussy, membrane-lacing, stable head, hazy straw blonde robe with apricot tinge. Aroma of oxidized apple slices, green banana, raw turnip, field flowers, dried lemon peel, green melon, vague pear, rainwater. Crisp, fruity onset, quite sharply carbonated, fruity notes of green melon, banana peel and a touch of apple or pear, slick but full body. Sweetish cereally maltiness with a dash of honeyish residual sweetness on top, lingering fruity accents too, working towards a floral and slightly zesty hop bitter finish, long-stretched but elegant and accessible. Brouwbar elegance and accessibility as usual, the Brouwbar version of Dupont’s famed Moinette Blonde, in a sense. Very agreeable!
