Another voodoo Ranger. Gold in color with a two finger head. The usual taste and aroma of citrus fruit and spruce.

Pours clear gold. It has a nice citrusy hop aroma. It’s a well enough made fruity ipa. Moderate bitterness. It’s good but like others here I miss seeing more variety and creativity from this brewer.

When I first started rating beers New Belgium was out in front, brewing many beers in many styles, a lot of them good or better. Now NB is pushing forward with all IPAs, all the time. It seems to be working for them and from a marketing standpoint that is good. But for all the Voodoo products out there, I generally do not determine a noticeable difference between them. Decent brews, quite similar. IMO. Now I have a chilled Hop Raider on the table next to me, my severely chilled Great Heights snifter prepared to receive the pour. Let us proceed. 12 oz can from a nearby HEB opened and being poured. The appearance is nice, a semi-hazy dark gold body finished with a spare skim of wholly white foam. I like the smell, citrus heavy, hops and perhaps a touch of caramel. A drink now. Well I will admit this, it is a tasty beer. Assuredly and blessedly throwback with pine, lots of hoppiness, grass, citrus, a honey sweetness, hay and a touch of yellow fruit perhaps apricots. Fairly dense, good by me and likewise with the bitterness. A high ABV for a basic IPA, I’ve rated IIPAs that are lower. Best offering from New Belgium I have had in a long time.

Honey and lilly nose. Crystal clear amber, thick head. Honey, grapefruit, lilly, nougat overtones. Medium body, easy carbonation. One of the better Voodoo Ranger beers.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 12/1/22. Clear amber, large white head, good retention. Aroma of melon, dank, pepper. Taste is dank, earth, melon, pineapple. Some nuttiness in the finish. Slick, mild bitterness. By the way, @cheap really comes across as an asshole in his rating (as of 12/1/22), and really should stop trying IPAs. He's literally the guy every brewer hates. I'll keep enjoying my Voodoo Rangers and my quadrillion IPAs, thank you very much @cheap. Overall, solid beer.

Another bullshit voodoo from NB. They all taste the same but they get off making slight differences so the lemmings can say 'I tasted that one'. Yea, this one is no different, just maybe there is a slightly darker look to this. It's a little deeper pale than expected. The first taste confirms my ticking suspicion, it's just another one of a quadrillion IPA out there, I think there is more IPA out there than there are dollars of national debt. At least it has a little kick to it at 8%, kinda dulls the senses after a few big gulps. Makes me forget for a moment I'm drinkin a purposefully bitter man's beer LoL. Terribly on style IPA effects, including the mouth coating bitter ass long lasting finish. There, you have it. Go figger. Another stupid ass IPA tick.
