SEA is crisp New England IPA brewed with Maris Otter extra pale barley, wheat, oats and an addition of chit malt. Rather than using a "heavy-on-the-haze" yeast, we fermented this brew out on kölsch yeast. We've experimented with this a few times now and reckon it gives a lovely crisp beer and lets the hops shine through. We added Waimea (NZ) hops in the whirlpool and dry hopped with Rakau (NZ) and Sabro cryo (US), which impart loads of fruity notes. Our resident designer Emily Stevens explores more muted tones and dialed back artwork - which we are calling LAND-SEA-SKY.
