Cask at Bedford CAMRA Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours deepest brown with beige/tan foam. Aroma: roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, dark fruits. Taste: towards moderate sweet with similar bitterness. Medium body with light carbonation.

8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, dried fruits, prune, fruit cake. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Easy drinking stout.
