Brewed with our friends Freestyle Hops during their recent visit to Vermont, Dead Flowers is an India Pale Ale featuring their select Riwaka and Southern Cross hops.
This beer is truly a beauty, presenting notes of fresh melon, tropical fruit juice, a hint of lime, and an overall experience that reminds of us of a creamsicle.
Huge thank you to the Freestyle team for working with us on this one. We had a blast with you and are already looking forward to next years visit.

The nose shows moderately intense notes of mango and pineapple
The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied with foam brewers' distinct creamy mouthfeel. Moderately intense flavors of pineapple, guava, and light papaya with a balanced harmonious malt backbone and a very mild bitterness on the finish.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark yellow haziness with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet to tart lime, floral hops, sweet melon hop tones with a mellow smooth malt
Flavor: blends the previously noted aromas to a great sweet to tart then a sturdy bitter striding in for some balance; mild finish of floral to melon to lime-like tones
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, some smoothness but also a light hop assertiveness
Overall: pretty nicely done NEIPA I would have again.
