This is what an imperial Gose tastes like, its not meant to be good. It’s an experiment. Its full of salt and tartness to the max compared to the regular. Its very tart and crazy but not good. Its flatish its thicky-light. Its a mess but an original mess. I think I get a little tequila, adds a refreshing yet alcoholic aspect. Its a cool but I would never drink it again.

Thanks to Eugene for sharing - well, this is a strange beast - smells and tastes very strongly of vegetables (celery, root plants, cucumber, peppers) - surprisingly tart and only mildly sweet for the strength - some oak - the tequila is fairly evident - fairly soft and surprisingly frothy in the mouth for something so strong - fairly strong alcohol burn in the finish - moderately acidic, mildly doughy - strange.

15/XII/13 - 33cl bottle from Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon (Arlon) @ home - BB: n/a (2013-1149) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Clear orange beer, huge aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very smelly, rotten agrum fruits, bit soapy, alcohol, some caramel, overripe banana, weird spices, juniper berries, orange peel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: citric start, pretty sour, tangerines, weird nasty taste, probably the tequila? Some alcohol, bit sugary. Aftertaste: alcohol, weird stuff, orange peel, bit sour, spices, little bitter, tannins. Meh, this is totally not my thing.

Bottle @ Exira Beer Summit IV. Thanks to Dr. Owl for sending. Fucken Deutsch wælz. Pours a cloudy orange appearance with a nice cream colored head. Creamy lime pie, sticky rice, oaky/vanilla aroma. Twangy, big vanilla woody, lemon/lime, light honey, slightly boozy flavor with a fair amount of salt and some tartness on the finish. Kind of fun to try but nothing like a typical gose.

Bottle looks simple but really, really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts very strong, alcoholic, spicy, notes of cookies. Modest sourish. Finish still alcoholic, sharp, unbalanced. Not the best beer from Bayerischer Bahnhof.

Bottle. Pours brownish amber with a thick head. Boozy aroma, almost smokey. Earthy taste, lots of alcohol.

Bottle. Pours orange with a thick white head. Very strange beer with notes of smoke, vegtables, strawberries, a bit sour, wood and lots of alcohol. Not my thing...

Pours hazy gold into a stem glass. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving no lacing. Ripe summer fruit and dough aromas. Sourdough and tart tropical fruit front to back with a lasting hot tequila finish.

Slightly hazy, off-gold with a small head. Aroma is tequila, wood..... Flavour is salty, mild tequila notes, lime juice. Very pleasant saltiness. Nicely done.
