Cloudy black, thin, dark beige head. Aroma of coconut cookie, chocolate sauce, hazelnut paste, pear, vanilla, green apple, bourbon. Taste has sweet pear, green apple & candied plum in a milk-chocolatey, hazelnutty malt body with notes of coco & vanilla. Herbal hoppy finish, a bit spicy, gentle fondant for some roastiness and warming bourbon & coconut liqueur-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Lovely pastry-style base beer whilst the bourbon adds some fruity freshness, oddly enough.
