Bottle from Off Color care of a friend. Thanks Adam! Pours a clear rusty amber with a finger of beige head that lingers. Lovely vinous aromas with oak and walnut followed by notes of pear, apple and dried honey. Tart and vinous on the palate with grape, red wine vinegar and more apple and oak. Finishes with light vanilla and oak and more of the fruit flavors listed above. Slightly warming and tart cherry finish.

On tap at Mousetrap. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is funky, apple skin, wood. Slick body, apple, wood, light tartness, very nice.

Pours a darker, unclear amber. Small to no head. Scent is cherry, woody, Flemish Red ale style. Taste is tart, full, oaky, red fruits (apples not as noticeable, even though it's a high amount) more like a vineous Flanders Red to me. Bit glue like aroma (Velpon) , very balanced.
