Bottled. A dark chestnut brown beer with a thin dark brown head. The aroma has strong notes of caramel and nuts as well as medium notes of wheat and bread. The flavor is quite sweet with notes of caramel, bread, malt, and some wheat, the alcohol is felt in the mouth. The finish is dry with notes of caramel and wheat lingering. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy reddish brown with basically no head. Odd chemical and sulphurous aroma. Solid body, slight carbonation, sweet and syrupy, with overripe fruit accents. You actually can detect the Dunkelweizen behind this. Ends on a warming alcoholic finish. Quite pleasant really. 080210

Swing top bottle shared by shrubber85. Smoky raisin/prune aroma. Dark brown with a ruby tint and almost no head. Smoky prune followed by a lingering earthy/soil flavor. Medium body with a smooth creamy mouthfeel. I’m a fan of smoky flavors so I found this very enjoyable.

Swing-top bottle. Banana, clove, burnt sugar, sour milk/orange juice and alcohol aroma. Dark brown color with minimal head. Sour, turned orange juice, banana, clove, and strong alcohol flavor. Pretty rough and a bit off. Interesting to say the least.
