0.33l bottle shared with ClubGonzo and Inbreak. Pours a near clear dark cola-brown body. A really low and quickly sidesticking thin fading off-white film. A bit boozy and powerful aroma with sweet caramel, nuts, and it feels quite sweet and almost sticky. Wonder how this will taste, so let's find out: first of all, it has a heavy sticky texture on the tongue, and it's actually average carbonated. Sweet? Yes absolutely, but not overwhelmingly. Quite nutty in the taste as well with lots of light burned honey (not that I've ever had this), there is lots of sweet alcoholic booze here no doubt, but it's never to much. A faint tone of dark dried fruits mixed with dark malts and caramel. Heavy warming finish and aftertaste on this one. A bit all over the place, but definitely not unpleasant. 01.02.2012

Bottle from Bierland, Hamburg. Clear dark brown with no head. Rubber, salt, sweet malt, alcohol and some smoke. The finish was dry. This was a very unbalanced beer and very harsh to drink. I didn’t finish my 5 centiliter of this beer.

Bottle from Globus Ludwigshafen and Maruhn Darmstadt
It pours a cloudy dark brown color, a bit dull overall, with a semi-viscous fluid, small head and no retention; there is a fizz from the quickly disappearing bubbles.
The aroma is mild, not too strong, and actually quite nice; there is caramel, some oxidization, light molasses, alcohol and chestnuts.
The mouthfeel is quite thick and oily; the structure is broken only by the strong alcohol presence; strong and a bit cloying caramel and candi sugar flavor, with some wheat, stein character and smoke that are actually appreciated, sweet. The bitterness is reasonably low. The alcohol is clearly perceived all through.
Not disgusting, but actually not a beer that gives extreme pleasure, nor a beer that I will look again for. Care to drink not cold.
