Poured a golden to reddish amber with a thin white head. The aroma was of sweet hoppy grains. The taste was a grainy sweet flavor that finished a bit bitter to the taste buds.

Bottled. Clear golden, rich head. Light canteloupe aroma. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Medium bodied with flavour of cereals and grain. Low bitterness. A decent lager with interesting malt character.

Fluffy, very lightly yellow-tinted head, over dark golden beer with a hidden copperish shine. Fleetingly vanilla, then a lot of toast. Bit of parsley aroma, too. A fleeting idea of leafy bitterness, but immediately quelched by a dull, grainy taste, dusty even. Taste as if from oxydized malt, somehow, strange. Sweet stretching to toasted and... old? (BBD is only 10/01/07...) A bit slick-sweetness, grist, but mainly light bodied. It’s not bad, but there’s so much better a border further away.

Bottle. Creamy malt and light hops aroma. Bright yellow with large head. Sour malt with a metallic finish - moderate carbonation and acidity. Taste was unpleasant.
