Cette série de Meerts Tilquin a été obtenue par la fermentation de fruits ayant déjà été utilisés une fois. Les fruits ont fermenté pour une durée de 4 mois dans un assemblage de 80% de Meerts de 1 an et 20% d’un assemblage de différents lambics de 2 ans. Le Meerts (ou Bière de Mars) est un lambic léger en alcool, qui était à l’origine produit grâce au mout plus faible obtenu lors du rinçage des drèches. Non filtrés et non pasteurisés, ils sont refermentés en bouteille.

YG 231224. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is yeast, fruit, malt, funk. Flavor is yeast, fruit, malt, funk, lemon, grapes, gooseberries. Very nice beer.

Bottle, 375ml corked. A lightly hazy golden colored beer with a minimalistic white head. Nice sourish-fruity aroma, funky, with lemon, leather notes, some barnyard and a good dash of grapes. It's full to medium bodied and quite tart, with a good carbonation. Funky flavor too, fruity, with a touch of pale malts. Leather, barnyard and horseblanket, with grape, lemon and some gooseberry. Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Saturday. Hazy golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma and Taste of tart apples, apricot, funk, barnyard, easy to drink.

opalescent pale yellow colour, minimal off-white lacing; aroma of lemony-lemon zesty, barnyard, some unripe grape and vinous notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with some yeasty, as well as minimal acetone notes; great one!

Aroma of brettanomyces / farmhouse, oak, crushed white grapes, white wine vinegar. Sour flavour with the same elements, also notes of lemons. Relatively light bodied.

375 ml bottle. Pours amber with almost no head. Atomas of barnyard, stoned fruit skins, grapes and sharp wheat. Flavors follow same; somewhat more subtle and a bit earthy and grainy.
