This is a true Colossus of a beer. An English-style Barley Wine brewed with the finest English malts and hops, and double mashed to maximize flavor and texture.
Aged for 13 months in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels. The barrel aging gives complex notes of vanilla, coconut and charred oak, which layers on top of the beer’s flavor profile of dark fruit, tobacco and chocolate.

330ml @ Ryan's. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Looks like a regular dark barleywine brewed in North America. Aroma: bourbon, caramel, dark fruits, a little bit of hops. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: pretty nice, multi-layered with a touch of everything - bourbon, hoppy bitterness, caramel, dark fruits.

Re-rate: Poured from 330mL can (vintage 2022; transported back from MBCC). Dark brown with small beige head. Bourbon forward, slightly hot, but expected at this abv, dark dried fruits, feint background hops, enjoyable. May 3, 2023 (8/4/9/4/18=4.3): Poured from 330mL can (MBCC gold walk). Very dark brown with small beige head. Nice balanced bourbon, caramel malt, dark dried fruits. Excellent.

Can 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, dark brown with an orange hue with hardly any head. Thick, sweet, syrupy aroma of molasses, oveerripe fruits and Bourbon - quite mushy and delicious. Fat body, sweet and plummy, vanilla and almost noble rot. And all the time the Bourbon playing on the side. Boozy not so integrated finish. 260123

Can @ HJ Hansen, Odense. Pours deep amber Brown with a small collapsing head. Deep and vinous with a Lovely evident bourbon note coming forward. Vanilla, barrel, Dark fruit, molasses. Vinous and Rich. Hardly any alcohol. Wauw, What a treat!

Can from DinØl.dk. Very dark brown with a small off-white head. Intense aroma of malt, toffee, dark bread, prunes and dates, with a touch of dessert wine. Impressive intense and balanced flavour with dark malt and dried fruit. World class really

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar Aarhus. Pours very dark brown, no head. Aroma of malt, caramel, brown sugar, bread, vanilla, wood, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, rich malty, caramel, brown sugar, bready, wood, light vanilla, rich bourbon, alcohol. Medium to full body, average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. Tap@MBCC 2022, Copenhagen (14/05/2022) - Sweet dark malty with lots of bourbon, chocolate and caramel, dark dried fruit shred, full body, bourbon kissed malty finish. Great stuff.
