Bottle, thanks to Willems en Zoon, Grobbendonk. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Horse stable funk, fruity, bit tart, floral elderflower. Very nice. Taste: Very well balanced mix of funky barnyard and horse stable, floral elderflower, fruity mix of gooseberry, unripe grape and citrus, oak wood and hay. Medium body, below average carbonation. Over moderate to medium tart. Hints of old hop. Dry-ish mouthfeel. A lot of funk, very rural Wow, very nice blend.

Very good, dense, just off-white head, receding over cloudy orange-golden beer. Intense lambic/barnyard/horseblanket nose, balanced almost to perfection with unmistakable elderflower aroma. Floral, lactic acid, citrus. Very sour, point of acetic acid, lots of lactic; some barnyard notes. Elderflower is less able to withstand against the acids in the flavour than in the nose. Still some floral, fruity (unripe) and lemony touches. Dry-out effect, lipsmacking acidity, ultra tart, acidburn and - thinning. Medium carbonation at best once poured. One for the diehards. The nose is a real treat.
