Traditionally brewed with pale, crystal and chocolate malted barley and selected Herefordshire whole hops. A copper bronzed ale with hints of toffee and vanilla. The finish is malty and nutty with a gentle sweet finish.

Clear deep chesnut brown color, steady small beige head. Nutty, toffeish aroma. Light-bodied. Toffeish, nutty, some crisp earthy hoppyness in the finish. Sweetish, clean very English bitter. Old skool.

500ml bottle from Tuckers Maltings. Pours clear amber with a thin, short-lived white head. Aromas are malty and metallic. Taste is more of the same, with a grassy, astringent bitterness. Not great.

Bottle from Tesco. Poured a clear dark amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light sweet malt, woody hop light liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at JDW Bishop Vesey; clear copper pour with a creamy magnolia head, slightly smoke aroma and fruit, taste has caramel, smoke and some fruit,

Das Bier ist fast klare, kastanienbraun und es hat eine geringe aber feine beige Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hopfig, nussig, fruchtig, Karamell. Geschmack leicht röstmalzig, nussig, Karamell, gering hopfig bitter, ok!

Bottle from Tesco, Mirfield. Dark amber with a carbonation and a small frothy head. Has a lovely smooth feeling in the palate and a fairly decent malt aroma and taste and a light sweetness.

500ml bottle from a garage in deepest Worcestershire. A deep amber brown beer with a whitish head. Malty aroma, and a taste of orange fruit and malt.

Bottle from Havnens, Vejle. Clear brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and nutty. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter. Finish. 141213

Bottle thanks to Dutchdrebus. Clear amber color, small off - white head. Smell and taste malts, some caramel, bitter, lightly some hops. Medium body, ok carbonation.
