Cask at Rose & Crown, Stafford. Pours a dark copper with a medium sized off-white head and good lacing. The aroma is mainly grains, with rye prominent, plus some malty hints. Malts again in the mouth, along with marmalade and sweet fruitiness. Later rye grains come to the fore, along with werthers old original and traces of nuts. Some dryness in the finish. This is rather nice.
