Blue Hen Pilsner is a crisp and refreshing pilsner brewed with only four ingredients – water, hops, yeast, and Delaware-grown and malted barley. Giving a loving nod to our slight yet mighty home state, the label art features the Delaware state bird and a color palette similar to that of the Delaware state flag!

Pours a clear straw from a can. Freshly mown grass aroma and flavor, sweet grain in the flavor too. Good beer.

Best by January 2023. Looks like I am a little late to the party.
It pours a pale gold with a good head of foam and lacing.
I smell some sweet malt, grain, light hops, guess that died down because of the age.
The taste is sweet malt, biggish grain, light hop bitterness.
Light bodied, I could see this as more flavourful and crisp if it was fresher.

Can from Livonia Liquor from the Off-Centered Party Pack. Pours a clear, bright gold with a finger of fluffy white foam that lingers. Lovely bready malt nose with light peppery hops. Medium carbonation, round mouthfeel. Smooth finish with light pepper on the finish.

Pours light gold with a small white head. Aroma of grassy malt. Taste is dry, yeasty, corn, some mild citrus. Palate has some wheat notes, still dry, mild floral elements. Eh.

I assume this is slightly hazy pale yellow. Drank it right out of the can. Smell is slightly hoppy but not IPA. Initial taste is pretty good. Lacks the rude sharp pilsner bite so common with most domestic varieties. Actually comes across as a little more civilized. Yes, much more like most of the well behaved fresh pils of the old country. Well mannered thru the middle. Very good level of carbonation as well. Nicely done DF. I enjoyed this pilsner. Better than expected.
