This Malenky Helles was developed by one of our brewers, Jimi, who has put his own twist on our standard Helles recipe. Taking the name from his home brewery 'Malenky Brew,' which comes from "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess.
With a 100% Pilsner malt bill, a higher ABV, and a more pronounced hop profile, featuring Mandarina Bavaria and Calista, this beer has a soft bitterness and a fruity, citrus aroma coming from the whirlpool and double dry hop additions.

Bottle at home. Golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma and taste are bready sweet and slight citrus fruity. Crisp medium body.

Bottle online from Brew Cavern. Pours clear gold with a white cap. Aroma: citrussy, orange, lemon, bread. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, sweet grains, bread, and a little juice from that double dry hop. Super crisp. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Cracking.
